Uketsuke (受付) is a cloud reception service. Visitors check themselves in at a kiosk, their host hears about it right away, and the host's reply appears on the kiosk, so no one is left waiting.
The Free plan costs nothing. Sign up with your work email address or a Microsoft or Google account.
With or without a receptionist, the kiosk takes care of the whole welcome.
Visitors scan the QR code from their invitation, type a 6-digit code, search for their host by name, or tap a purpose button.
The host hears about the arrival by email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, or gets a Teams call.
When the host replies "I'm on my way", the kiosk shows it. If no one answers, a backup contact is notified.
Every check-in and check-out goes into the visitor log, ready for reports and data export.
Visitors with and without an appointment start from the same screen, in Japanese or English.
Visitors hold up the QR code from their invitation email.
No camera? They type the 6-digit code instead.
Find the host by part of their name, or in hiragana.
Add buttons such as deliveries or interviews for each location.
Visitors agree to your terms as part of checking in.
Print a visitor badge with a photo at check-in.
Visitors and employees who consent can check in by face next time. Face images are never stored, only encrypted face templates, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Arrival notices go to email, Slack or Microsoft Teams. One tap on a reply button and the visitor sees it.
"On my way", "Please wait" and "Someone else will help" appear on the kiosk the moment the host taps them.
If the host doesn't answer in time, a backup contact is notified.
Hosts can reply "Coming to collect it" or "Please leave it at reception".
Uketsuke calls the host on Microsoft Teams. Press 1 for "On my way" or 2 for "Someone else will help".
Invite a visitor to an Outlook or Google Calendar event and Uketsuke registers the visit. Changes to the event carry over.
Link your own calendar with your Microsoft 365 or Google account.
With Microsoft 365 you can limit the connection to room mailboxes. Uketsuke never needs to read employees' calendars.
Connected to Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi, Uketsuke shows who's in on a floor map, and which days your team overlaps.
Upload a floor plan and draw areas; Uketsuke shows where people are.
See who's in today for each team, and which days members overlap.
Location sharing is on only if the person turns it on. Colleagues see only whether they're in and where on the floor.
Monthly reports on visits per location and service availability.
Download your company's data as a ZIP file.
The admin screens and the kiosk both work in Japanese and English.
Choose the calm Standard theme or the rounded Pop theme, per location.
A REST API and an MCP server let your systems and AI assistants read and create visits.
Manage settings per company, office and floor, and lock them from a parent location.
Reception collects your guests' names and companies. Uketsuke is designed around security and privacy from the start. Privacy Policy
